Guildford “Life With Style” Campaign

Selected by the University of Surrey, Guildford Borough Council and local business leaders, Jo led a three-year campaign to run a place marketing programme for Guildford, Surrey’s county town.

Through a public-private partnership model, Prowse raised £150,000 in sponsorship to fund a comprehensive marketing push. Grounded in research - including focus groups with residents, students, and visitors - we wrote and delivered a place-marketing strategy that combined a new website with online marketing, PR, advertising, events and the “Guildford Life with Style Awards.”

The campaign not only boosted Guildford’s profile and town centre footfall, but also earned a Chartered Institute of Public Relations Award for Best Integrated Campaign.
