Selected by Guildford Borough Council, the University of Surrey and a consortium of business leaders, Prowse & Co. developed and launched a campaign to promote Guildford, county town of Surrey. Based upon a public / private sector partnership model, we raised c£150,000 in sponsorship to fund a marketing campaign rolled out over a three year period.

We created a partnership including the local authority, university, retailers, local cultural organisations, housing providers and the business community. Together, over a three year period, we delivered an award winning campaign which included:

• Campaign website to drive footfall to the town

• Digital and email marketing campaign to promote visitor events and town centre activities

• A public relations campaign targeting the national, local and lifestyle media

• The creation of the ‘Guildford Life with Style Awards'

Our work won a Chartered Institute of Public Relations Award for Best Integrated Campaign.
