Flying High in Europe

The Prowse team was tasked with raising the profile of Kansas as a place for European companies to do business and to assist Kansas-based companies with market development within Europe.

Retained as the Trade Department’s European representative office for more than ten years, Prowse conducted some 70 sector research projects across UK, France, Germany, Spain, Italy and Scandinavia covering a wide cross-section of industries.

The team provided event management support for international trade fairs and missions, including the Paris and Farnborough Airshows. This included hosting a Gala Dinner at the Houses of Parliament for former Governor Sebelius, who is now part of President Obama’s Cabinet team.

The international trade fair activities conducted by Prowse proved successful for exhibiting Kansas companies and for the Kansas State Government with its profile raised and contacts with key sector opinion-formers strengthened.
