How do you sell imported meat, seafood and wine into one of the world's greatest foodie nations and create a recipe for success?
The Italian Job
Begin with a taste of the ocean, mix in the world’s most famous Rugby team followed by a few media gourmets, sprinkle with a dusting of Italia’s Next Top Models. Then serve in one of Milan’s top restaurants, topped off with a live television broadcast by Sky TV. Bellissimo!
Working closely with our client team and associate Italian agency, that’s just what we did when tasked to promote New Zealand’s food and beverage industry to the Italian market.
More than 50 journalists from Italy’s national newspapers, celebrity magazines and food and beverage trade media attended a photocall at the start of the event which was compered by Sky Italia Rugby Commentator and Miss Italy 2000.
The resulting coverage included:
• 7 national TV broadcasts, including a live broadcast on Sky Italia
• 16 print media clippings, including National newspaper coverage
• 47 online media clippings
• 29 articles published with accompanying photography
• Footage on YouTube
