Mission Estate Winery, New Zealand’s oldest winemaker, has appointed Prowse & Co to undertake PR activities around its sponsorship of the UK Drinking Out Excellence Awards. Run by leading trade magazine ‘Harpers Wine and Spirit’, the awards recognize the sommeliers, restaurant owners and buyers involved in creating the UK’s most exciting restaurant wine and spirits lists.

Established in 1851, Mission Estate is one of New Zealand’s most sustainable wineries and is home to a collection of award-winning products. In February 2011, the Estate will host Sting in concert, accompanied by a 50 piece symphony orchestra and band as part of the star’s critically-acclaimed ‘Symphonicity’ tour.
