5 July 2010: Prowse supports Lord Mayor of London’s Appeal 2010

Prowse was pleased to support the Lord Mayor’s Appeal by attending a ‘World of Cricket’ Gala event at the City of London Guildhall this week.

Hosted by the Lord Mayor and television presenter Mark Nicholas, the event included entertaining speeches from keen cricket fan and former PM Sir John Major along with Henry Olonga, Graham Swann and Ricky Ponting.

The event raised funds for the charitable work of the London Symphony Orchestra and the Cricket Foundation’s ‘Pitch Perfect’ campaign to enable disadvantaged young people across London to play cricket and make music.
